Bryan Vulgamore

NEW InsideOut Art Show Participating Artist, 2017!

“I am learning photorealism and surrealism, with the goal to excel as a hyperrealist. I use acrylic colors on canvas. With acrylics, I am able to do washes over different colors and blend with a dry brush which helps to create definition through different highlights. By exploring these techniques, and others, I aim to develop my own style of hyperrealism.
“In Calm During the Storm, I wanted to express how I’ve learned to be calm during storms in my life, not just before and after. Hence a child surrounded by destruction, but yet she is calm and at peace.”
