Art, like Restorative Justice, can transform lives

InsideOut Art

Annual InsideOut Art Show
Picture
InsideOut Art Show
Individual and organizational collaborations created our InsideOut Art Show. “Inside” artists from state prisons donate their original paintings, drawings, and handcrafts, which UMCP then shows and sells  (including notecards and prints) at an annual art show. Formerly incarcerated “outside” artists also show/sell their work.
A major part of all net proceeds is donated back to prison art classes and to victims’ healing programs.
Other Art Shows & Alternative Christmas Fairs

UMCP participates in other art shows throughout the year, as well as congregations’ Alternative Christmas Fairs as further ways to raise awareness and support for our work.
